We have excellent facilities, including plenty of club boats to learn in. We aim to approach our dinghy sailing courses in the same way we welcome new members to the club with a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

We offer RYA Dinghy level 1 and 2 courses for adults and RYA Dinghy stages 1-3 for juniors with the goal to improve your sailing skills (from novice in the case of level/stage 1) to the standards prescribed by the RYA syllabus over the duration of the course.

All the necessary equipment such as buoyancy aids and training boats are supplied.

We charge £95 for the course which will provide Tuition (mostly on water) across two days, Certificate, Logbook & RYA "Start Sailing" publication.

Our courses are only open to club members, however we do have an introductory 3 month club membership category that allows access to the courses as a club member (without voting rights) and this temporary membership is included in the course fees.

As they say ‘practice makes perfect’ so please remember we have Sailing on Wednesday nights in the summer months, occasional Saturdays and every Sunday so there is every opportunity to continue to develop your new found skills after the course.
